The First Superpipe to Open in North America!

Copper and Woodward Copper have done it again. On November 30, the Main Vein Superpipe opened to the public marking it the first to open in North America for the 2019-20 winter season. 

It is primed and ready to go for both our guests as well as athletes who are set to compete in a variety of competitions coming up this season including the Land Rover U.S. Grand Prix, U.S. Revolution Tour and Dew Tour. See Copper's full event schedule here

With FIS Snowboard and Freeski World Cup competition already underway in some disciplines, the world’s best halfpipe skiers and riders are gearing up to kick off their northern hemisphere season at the Land Rover U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain, Colo. Dec. 11-14. The event will serve as the second halfpipe World Cup stop for the freeskiers and the season opener for the snowboarders.

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — Nov. 6, 2019 — Copper Mountain opens November 8 with more than 90 acres of terrain featuring skiing and riding for all ability levels. The American Eagle lift will begin turning at 9 a.m. and shortly thereafter the Easy Rider and Excelerator lifts.
